I am Doctor of Science in Entrepreneurship. My trading company helps to sell Chinese eco-friendly, renewable energy appliences to Europe, especially wind power and solar systems. EU is an interesting and lucrative market because EU countries will invest in new energy sources worth billions of dollars in the coming 10 years. ARCTIC GRANDPA is now in growing demand!

I am a fourth time grandfather and, hence, I have realized that I have to start sharing my behavioral skills and experiences in everyday life with a team of growing toddlers, university students, friends and others in my social network before it is too late;). In the past years, I have been lecturing Applied Research and Development in many learning institutions. It has come to my attention that even my adult business students find it difficult to apply research concepts and theories in their development project work with business and other organizations.

I have experienced that there is a strong relationship between scientific theories, models, frames, concepts, norms, laws etc and our everyday decision making that most of us are not aware of. I have started to teach this relationship by using examples from my ordinary life in the Arctic order to make this relationship visible and more comprehensive.

Vaarina olo on prosessi, joka kehittää itsetuntemusta enemmän uskoitkaan.Vaari rakastaa pieniä taaperoita omalla erityisellä tavallaan, ei niin kuin omia lapsia silloin joskus vaan nyt, ei niin kuin uusi hahmo, “the other”, uusi ilmestys, toinen mahdollisuus “isyyteen” tai second wind in life, niin kuin uskon merellä purjehtijat sanovat. Ei ole toista mahdollisuutta, on vain elämän kestävä jatkumo johon voi itse vaikuttaa tässä ja nyt!

Ottakaa kaikki vaarit, nykyiset ja tulevat, koppi tästä mahdollisuudesta! Älä ajattele, että en minä osaa olla lastenlasten kanssa yksin; tarvitsen tähänkin “vaimon” rinnalleni – ei vaan ota vastuu sellaisena kuin se avautuu, mahdollisuutena kasvaa itsekin, myötäolemista ja uusia ihmeitä, kohtaamisia ihan yksinkin (vaikka kumppani olisikin vierelläsi;).

Vaarius on mahdollisuus seilata rakkauden tyynellä ja myrskyisällä merellä kohti ihmisyyden ihmettä. Vaariudessa ei ole vain kareja ja turvasatamia – se on täynnä mahdollisuuksia tutustua itseen, tyttäreen ja hänen tapaansa elää. Rakasta lastasi niin myötä kuin vastamäessäkin. Ole viisas ja myönnä virheesi joita voi ilmaantua kymmenien vuosien jälkeenkin, yllättäen, puskista, omilta lapsilta. Olet edelleen ensisijaisesti omien lastesi isä ja sellaisen pysyt myös vaarina.

Rakasta lapsenlapsiasi niin kuin rakastat lastasi!
